24 Festival Internacional de Cine en Guadalajara

EL FICG ANUNCIA EL V ENCUENTRO CON LOS CREADORES

Una vez más, en el marco de las actividades de formación del 24 Festival Internacional de Cine en Guadalajara, se llevará a cabo el V Encuentro con creadores los días 25, 26 y 27 de marzo del 2009.

Jóvenes profesionales y estudiantes de cine, comunicación y materias relacionadas con las artes audiovisuales de Guadalajara, como cada año, se encontrarán con algunos de los profesionales más destacados de la cinematografía mundial para compartir, dentro de las conferencias que estos brindarán, sus experiencias, consejos y visionar sus trabajos para finalizar con una sesión de preguntas y respuestas.

Esta actividad es realizada en colaboración con el CAAV (Centro de Artes Audiovisuales).

En años anteriores han participado en el Encuentro con creadores profesionales de la talla de: Bertha Navarro, John Sayles, Fernando Eimbcke, Albertina Carri, John Waters, Rubem Fonseca, Costa-Gavras, entre otros.

Este año nos acompañarán: Peter Broderick, María Novaro, El Mtro. Alfredo Joscowicz, Sergio Arau y Virginia García del Pino.

Por otro lado, un total de 620 películas, de las cuales 278 son Largometrajes de ficción, 144 documentales y 198 cortometrajes fueron inscritas al 7° Mercado de Cine Iberoamericano en Guadalajara, que en esta edición reunirá a 140 participantes, entre compradores, distribuidores, exhibidores y representantes de televisoras.

En la sección HECHO EN MÉXICO, se realizarán 19 proyecciones de Mercado exclusivamente de títulos mexicanos de reciente producción 2008-2009.

Por otra parte, en el SHORT UP!!! se presentarán cuatro programas de cortometrajes mexicanos –ficción, documental y animación- de reciente producción 2008-2009 que hacen un total de 31 cortometrajes.

La séptima edición del Mercado de Cine Iberoamericano en Guadalajara, se realizará del 19 al 26 de marzo, dentro del Festival Internacional de Cine en Guadalajara.
